Omfg i love this movie. way better then Ready Player One, its a beautiful work of art & not just bots & guns etc. every character has life & its amazingly well done. so underrated... Alita battle angel fight scenes.

Alita 3a battle angel number. Missed opportunity are the 2 words that come to mind after just having watched this.
The setting and production quality are top notch, but it fails to impress on every other level which makes this movie ultimately a bland and average experience.
The sequel bait at the end really puts a nail in the coffin and makes it drop to a below average rating of 4 out of 10.

Alita: battle angel (2019. Alita battle angel song. Linkin Park 🗽. I must be desensitized to gore because I was not spooked by any of it at the end. This was a good movie. One impression it did leave on me was how they depicted the satanic, ancient babylonian, canaanite ritual at the end. As a student of spirituality in the bible, it was very interesting to see the rituals of old and that are still being practiced. You got it in my eye I'm i'm sorry. Alita: battle angel stories. Alita: battle angel trailer. This dub is different than I remember. A lot of things left out or changed. I know the original dub was hard on the ears but this one at times doesn't make sense. I haven't watched much Anime(In fact the first and only series i watched is 'One punch man. Despite any knowledge of the source material i found this adaptation to be highly entertaining. Visuals are just perfect and even the build up in the first half doesn't seem tiring as at its base 'Alita' is a coming of age story and all actors(lead or otherwise) complement that with ease. Screenplay could have been better and the characters could have used a little more build up but whatever this movie lacks in substance it more than makes up for in highly stylized and just mind blowing visuals.
P.S- The 'Motorball' sequences alone are worth your watch it on the biggest screen possible.

Even the fight scenes seemed decent by today's standards. T H O S E - E Y E S THEY SEE INTO MY SOUL. Alita: Battle angel of darkness. Just watched this movie and it was phenomenal! Honestly I'm going to go pick up the 4k copy tomorrow and gona watch it again.

Gorgeous, haunting, purposeful, ghastly and most of all refreshing. Horror has become a joke of a genre basically. Films like this are salvage it. I just watched it and Im ready to watch it again. P.S Tilda Swinton is a force to be reckoned with. The story line was a usual cliche like The Iron giant or a more recent one, like that of Real Steel. The visuals were not that pleasing apart from Alita but then, her character was not enough to go along with the reality around, the texture could have had more precise.
Movie was not boring, and was enjoyable even for story line didn't create curiosity even though there were attempts to create it.

They need to finish the manga already. And this film seems like its a little off from the original its more happy go lucky compared to the Og movie and manga. For those who haven't seen the movie yet and feel unconfortable about her eyes: Alita's eyes are Bionic Cybernetic Nanotech (non-biological) if it helps a little bit.
